Julian Frecklington - Managing Director

Julian Frecklington is the Managing Director of Frecklington Advisory. He is an engineer, lawyer and business leader with over 25 years’ experience in property, infrastructure and finance.

Prior to establishing Frecklington Advisory, Julian held leadership roles in the NSW Government and private sector. He has a diverse background in strategy consulting (Bain & Company), property & finance law (Clayton Utz), investment and development (Stockland), and civil engineering and construction (Multiplex).

Julian is an Expert Reviewer for major infrastructure projects in NSW, WA, VIC, QLD and SA. He holds a double degree in Law and Civil Engineering (Hons 1), an MBA (Vice Chancellor’s Award) and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. He has also completed the Harvard Leadership Program for Senior Executives.

Core Competency 1: Public and private sector experience

Julian specialises in facilitating complex interactions between government and industry. This includes helping clients to deliver major real estate and infrastructure projects such as new metro stations, schools, hospitals and mixed-use precincts.

Julian has a background in civil engineering, strategy consulting, business and law. He has worked with Boards to transform organisations, introduce new executive management and deliver business objectives.

Julian is an experienced COO and CEO. He has managed over 250 staff, strategy, risk, HR, P&L and capital transactions.
